The apartment is dedicated to the Italian typographer Giovanni Battista Bodoni and the famous font created by him in 1798. Bodoni is also the author of the “Manual of Typography”, in which he distills the four principles the beauty of type derives from: uniformity of design, sharpness and neatness, good taste, and charm.
The apartment measures about 45 sq m and is situated on the first floor of the building, apt. number 1. It consists of a living room, a bedroom, a small kitchenette and a bathroom.
The accommodation gives access to a walkway and an actual doorway, and overlooks a lightwell. Among other things, there is an Olivetti Lettera 35 typewriter from the early seventies waiting for you in the room.
