The Triumph room is dedicated to historical German typewriters and the British journalist and writer Ian Fleming. He used one of these machines in his estate in Jamaica, nicknamed “Goldeneye”, where he used to write all of his novels. He is obviously best known for having brought to life James Bond in 1953 with his series of spy novels.
The room includes a selection of his books in different languages, as well as a Triumph Norm typewriter. Feel free to use it and write a letter or, why not, your first story!
The room measuring around 30 sq m features high ceilings boasting wooden beams and is provided with a double bed, a single sofa bed, bathroom with shower and air-conditioning. Thanks to the two balconies with curved balusters, it is a very bright room, overlooking via Landolina with views to the baroque church of “Collegio dei Gesuiti”.
